Images I love!!!

I must make it really clear first that non of these 5 photos are mine!!! The artists are linked to the photos by name and info. this is just a tiny tribute to some of my inspiration! :) enjoy!

Julie M Cameron
Her images are just beautiful, they show emotions, but still something quiet..
They make me think about the person, who they might be, and who they are pretending to be. I think we all pertend to be someone else when we pose for the camera, especially like in Camerons images. She was inspired by stories, history or mainly from the bibel.
Her images tell a story, but makes us make the story for ourselves..

Katja Feith
A young upcoming artist from Russia. She combines photography, illustration and a very imaginary mind together into these bisarre images.
It's something very romantic but dark about them, and they do remind me about Francesca Woodman in the way she uses her own body into the images, making them blurry and into these objects. I would love to have one of these up on my wall :D

"fairy offering flower to iris"
These images were taken by to girls playing with one of their dads cameras.
As this was taken at the first days of photography, people belived that any photography showed the truth and nothing but, so imagen the fuss when these to kids came around with these amazing photographys of themselves with fairys?!
It's actually been made a movie based on this story. I recomend you to see it, just can't remember the name of it :p

Eolo Perfido
One of the photographers right now that is just getting more and more well known for his dark, calm and beautiful images. They show this calmness, a melancholy that makes me look at the images time after time, and I think that everytime I look at them, I have a new favorite.
He was one of my biggest influences while I was doing my degree.

Camille Rose Garcia
A spanish artists, painter. Her images consists of this cartoon-like figures, inspired by 70's figures for kids, but made them into something dark and bisarre..
The figures themselves are cute, but it's the setting that just makes them reallyreally scary in a way! The way she makes the painting "cry" by making drops of paint coming down the painting..(hard to describe, but easy to see)..in that way I belive the storie is tragic in a way, how these ones cute figures got forgotten and sent to a limbo land... something like that..
They are really amaxing and creepy.....
